Referrals Are the Lifeblood of a Consultant's Business

As I said earlier, after you're in business a short while, you will quickly realize the value of getting referrals from your clients, your prospects, people you know, family, friends, co-workers, other trades people, and so forth. Referrals are very powerful and help to grow your business and sustain your business over time.

But getting referrals doesn’t happen automatically. You’ve got to take a pro-active approach and put systems into place that help you generate them. Here is one of the best systems you can utilize. It’s a system of sending out regular greeting cards to people you want to stay in touch with.
